Biography

Mary aka Frisk E was born and raised in upstate NY, in the suburbs of Poughkeepsie and Hyde Park. In 1997 She met and trained with a hip hop dancer that was responsible for choreography on MTV's "the grind". It was in those years that Mary realized she wanted to spend her life performing on stage. Soon after Mary had an unfortunate accident and broke her back. Her dreams were crushed. After recovering and moving to Tucson Arizona Mary decided to put it all behind her and start a family. She married and had two children. She started to realize that her childhood dream wasn't possible but maybe a variation of the dream was still available to her. She started dancing again. Performing from AZ to Charleston SC. In 2009 mary met two girls using hula hoops to mezmerize their crowds. Some hoops were taped with pretty colors and other hoops actually lit up with LED lights. Mary said to herself "man I would love to be able to do that." The two girls gave Mary her first hoop and tought her how to keep the hoop up on her waist. Mary was crazed once she got the hang of hooping. She watched countless hours of youtube videos to learn tricks and tips. She also wanted to see how other hula hoopers incorporated dance into their routines. Today Mary lives in Philadelphia PA and performs her sexy hula hoop dances all over the North Eastern Region. She continues to push the hoop envelope by creating her own tricks and visusally pleasing performances. She has several videos and pictures available for your viewing on her facebook page.
